What’s is a coffindodger ?
A coffindodger is a person / candidate we think is very old, unfit, ill or just not looking there best.

Is this not a bit sick?
No it’s just a bit of harmless fun, some of these people have had a good innings, and our deepest condolences go to their families. But the show must go on! And our staff at coffindodgers.co.uk will go on the list if they make it to 93. Laugh.

How will I know when my bet is placed and active?
An e-ticket will be automatically sent to your registered email address confirming your entry into the game this e mail will also advise you of your randomly selected coffindodger name in the sweep.

What happens if more than 40 players join a 40 person sweep?
The 41st joining player will start another 40 person sweep, using the same names, no prize money is diluted, and every entrant gets the same equal chance of winning.

How do I know your company will not hold back all the good candidates?
We laugh, there all good candidate, we can not predict who goes next, life is a game of chance, it can not be fiddled, you can have the best name on that list, then pop, some 80 year old wipper snapper croakes.

Can I choose a name or person?
No sorry it’s all random, fair and equal. (Oh & it stops us getting our knickers in a twist).

If my coffindodger should pass away, will I have to claim my fees?
Nope, we will e mail every entrant to let them know of a death. If you are a winner you can e mail us if you want.

How do I get my winnings?
All winnings are sent out within 7 days by cheque.

Do you have a phone number?

What happens if nobody dies?
Laugh, regretfully someone always dies, there is no time limit on the sweeps, and it runs to the death.

What happens to the list when a coffindodger dies?
A new coffindodger is added & we start again, all entrants running on credits are e mailed with a new random coffindodger name.

Why is the subscription automatically renewed after each death?
There is to much admin and time lost after each death, if we then have to contact all members to make sure they are happy to play again, in the past members have not replied to e mails for two weeks etc, by that time there place was lost in the sweep. So we go with; we all play again unless we hear differently.

Can I keep the same name as the last game?
No that’s boring, we have a reshuffle & new names of coffindodgers are emailed.

What are my odds on the top 40 sweep?
Good odds, 40-1.

Can I bet more?
Yes we have set up a top 51 game costing £12.75 with a prize purse of £500.00

I’m from the France can I join in?
Yes please do.

I don’t like to pay online, can I ring payments through?
